Bonjour, Christian a été mon meilleur ami pendant nos années de première et terminale. On sortait beaucoup ensemble, on allait en soirées etc. Beaucoup de souvenirs de cette époque me reviennent en mémoire. J'ai été très affligé d'apprendre sa mort et, même si c'est deux ans plus tard, je présente à sa famille mes sincères condoléances.

I just learned about the loss of Christian yesterday and I was shocked.
He had given a guest lecturer presentation at my Ergonomics class at the University of Houston-Clear Lake in April 2022.  He talked about accommodations for people with disabilities.  His talk was full of energy and compassion.

Christian will be missed...I'm so sorry for your loss.

Christian avait fait son stage à la maison,  et nous en gardons un très bon souvenir. 
Il m'avait appelé lors du décès de papa, il y a 2 ans. Bon moment partagé ensemble au téléphone !
Claude a appelé ma cousine récemment,  c'est pourquoi je vous envoie ceci. Je sais pour l'avoir vécu combien les mots manquent dans ces moments là. 
Cependant je pense bien fort à vous tous, à cette belle énergie dont Christian faisait toujours preuve.  Et je suis sûre qu'il vous en a donné beaucoup , pour l'avenir aussi!

We are shocked and deeply saddened by the news of Christian's passing. His family and staff have our sincerest condolences.

As fairly recent customers, we visited Mobility 101 one day, where we met and made his acquaintance. Ultimately, we purchased an electric stair lift from him, for my mother, Mrs. Jessie Tanner...who unfortunately and ironically passed away just four days after Christian did, on February 8, 2023.

Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your entire family, as you adjust to his home-going.

c'est avec une grande tristesse que j'ai appris la disparition accidentelle de Christian. Même si nous nous étions perdus de vue depuis votre départ aux Etats-Unis, je ne vous ai pas oubliés. Les bons moments des années du Léo Club Strasbourg Petite France, de votre mariage etc... me reviennent à l'esprit. Christian et toi, notamment, m'y avaient  accueillie. Il y était investi et donnait déjà beaucoup aux autres. Les images et témoignages ici présents montrent qu'il n'avait pas changé et faisait toujours preuve de beaucoup d'altruisme.

I didn’t have the opportunity to meet Christian. I’d hoped someday, in happy circumstances, to have that honor.

I have been lucky to get to know one of Christian’s daughters, Marine, quite well, in person and through my son, Brent, who is Marine’s boyfriend.

One can surmise much about a person based on their children. Parenting is a responsibility that’s exceeded in its great challenge only by its importance and its blessing. Marine is kind, funny and bright. I bet Julie is too. Twice, Marine surprised me with perceptive and thoughtful gifts: a high school music memento for Christmas and my favorite key lime pie birthday dessert. And I’m laughing again now over Marine’s witty remark regarding her planned Montreal apartment with Brent: “Closet space will be allocated based on need.”

So, I have no doubt that Christian was an excellent father and tremendous person and will be missed by his family, friends, colleagues and clients.

My mother, Anne, and stepfather, Bill, really like Marine. They send their condolences. We appreciate the valuable work that Christian was doing for elderly and other people with mobility challenges and have contributed to the ALS Association-Texas Chapter in Christian’s memory.

I find myself reflecting about the closeness in age between Christian and me. Life and loving relationships are as fragile as they are precious.

Dear Laurence, I am very sorry about the loss of your husband and Dear Marine and Julie the loss of your father. I am thinking of all of you.

Grief from loss is difficult and persistent--may your appreciation for, and good memories from, the time you had together provide comfort. I wish caring, understanding, closeness and love for you and peace for Christian.

Leaving a message forces us to acknowledge and accept that Christian is no longer among us. And to this day this is all hard to believe. Christian was a friend to all and once you spent time with him it was impossible not to see his big heart. He put it in everything he did regardless of how big or small the task was, and who the beneficiary was.
He had tremendous knowledge in various areas and was always willing to share, while at the same time he was always respectful of other people’s experiences and initiatives.
At work I learned a lot from him but above all I had the chance to observe someone who always strived to be fair. In the friendship we developed it was his sense of humor that shined bright and will be truly missed. Christian had this joke - a play of words in French- that he would always make whenever we went to this certain restaurant. I must have heard it 1,000 times and could pin point exactly when he was going to crack it but the joy on his face as he was telling it would bring a smile to mine every single time. If only we all could each be so lucky to listen to him tell just one more joke and hear his stories just one more time…

I worked with Christian on my aging-in-place projects for several years and we enjoyed each other's company a great deal.

My husband and sons and I were saddened to learn of the untimely passing of Christian Fitsch-Mouras.  He was a kind gentleman who helped us when we needed a trustworthy and professional person to set up our stair lifts.  After we met and worked with him, he would stop by occasionally when he walked his dog since he lived in our neighborhood.  We are grateful for his kindness and help and wish for his family and friends peace and comfort as they recall how many people thought so highly of him.  

I am saddened  to learn of Christian's passing. He was a wonderful and energetic  individual and cared deeply about  older adults and people with disabilities and meeting their needs.
I had the opportunity to work with him as a member of the Houston Gerontologic Society where we served on the board together. He was a true servant  leader and will se missed.

Comme cela doit être difficile pour toi de voir Laurence, Marine et Julie dans la souffrance, le désarroi et la tristesse. I had the pleasure of working with Christian for several years directly and indirectly. I am deeply saddened by his loss but will always value the knowledge and passion that he brought to our industry.   He was a loyal partner of Human Care and we all have a heavy heart.

It is with great sadness that I heard about the passing of Mr. Fitsch-Mouras. He was so kind to my family and I and helped me keep my parents at home. He was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. My deepest condolences to the family. 

End of the year dinner with BLS Team at Perry's Steakhouse. A fun time! Thank you for all you did for us. We lost so much loosing you so soon, especially your family, I am thinking so much about Laurence, Marine and Julie.

I had the pleasure of working for a great man, a colleague and he was a friend to me, Christian F-Mouras in Florida at Gebo/Sidel.  I was saddened to hear of his passingon February 4th. I continued to stay in touch with him through the years. My heart breaks for Laurence and the girls. He had such a great sense of humor and zest for life. He provided me an opportunity of a lifetime to spend a week in France when it was only going to require three days. He was addiment that I see his country he loved so much and I fell in love with it there too.  He was so good to work with.  I can recall going to lunch and having wine which was unheard of and it blew me away, the Christmas parties on the water (pictured), children's Christmas parties with Santa, the summer boat excursion with music, food and drinks. He made work fun! He will certainly be missed. I always had hoped to see him again. Keeping all that loved and adored him in my prayers. Live for today for you don't know what tomorrow brings. Rest in peace Christian F-Mouras ❤️🙏❤️

En plus d'être le mari de mon amie Laurence, Christian était un bon camarade de théâtre . Il avait intégré la troupe il y a plus de 4 ans et prenait ce récent hobby très au sérieux. Il était excellent comédien. Photo prise 15 min avant notre entrée en scène pour "Le voyageur sans bagage".  Il était engagé dans la prochaine production. Son absence se fera cruellement ressentie à EVT aussi. Bonne suite de voyage, Christian. Etienne et les enfants se joignent à moi pour te dire Adieu.

I have known Christian and benefited personally from his ongoing support and encouragement for our business from the time we opened our doors.  He was an incredible and dedicated advocate for seniors and his industry.  I know him to be kind, supportive, cooperative, visionary and most of all; eager to help. I will for ever remember my life in Houston. Christian gave me the opportunity to move to Houston and work for him. It jumped started my carrier and I will for ever be grateful for it.
