David Linwood Wade

David is survived by his loving wife, Diane Fountain Wade, loving sons Christopher William Wade and Alexander Linwood Wade of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by his father, Linwood Elijah Wade, his mother, Victoria Carden Wade, brothers, Michael Daniel Wade and Paul McGaughy, sisters, Mary Wade Ewer and Victoria Wade all of North Carolina.

David was born on January 11, 1958 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Linwood Elijah Wade and Martha Dickman Wade. He graduated from Craigmont Senior High in 1976. David married Diane Fountain Wade, his prized possession on March 2, 1985. David began working for the Harris County Engineering Department in 1980 and retired in 2014.

A memorial service will be held Friday, August 25, 2017 at 10am at Second Baptist Church, 6400 Woodway Dr., Houston Texas 77057. A reception will follow the service. All are welcome to attend and celebrate David's life. Flowers and condolences may be sent to Second Baptist Church.
