Edna "Sis" Wright

Edna "Sis" Wright, 101, passed away peacefully into the arms of Our Lord and Savior on January 29, 2015. Edna and her beloved husband Bud moved to Houston in 1943, where they embraced their new spiritual home with St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Edna was a kind, compassionate and graceful lady who always had a kind word for everyone.

Preceded in death by her husband, Richard (Bud) Wright; mother, Anna Fochtman; sisters, Gertrude Chittister and Kathleen (Kay) Watson; nephew, Tom Wright.

She is survived by her nephews, Art Watson and wife Laura and David Chittister and wife Ginny; niece, Sandra Carcella and her husband Rich and numerous other loving relatives.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM, Wednesday February 4, 2015, at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 5, 2015 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6800 Buffalo Speedway. The Rite of Committal will be at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Alan Vennix, Randy Randall, Warren Hawkins, Don Venker, Curtis Jones, Walter Roberts, Roger Roberts, Tang Young and Ryan Lakey.
