Eleanor was born on July 4, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York. She married her husband Jerry and they moved to Houston in 1969 for Jerry to work on the lunar module & moon rover. Eleanor worked in the real estate industry from 1973.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband Gerald (Jerry) Epstein; her brothers, Ira & Robert; and her sister-in-law, Marge. She is survived by her children, Steven, Louis, and David and their wives & children; her brother, Leonard; and brother-in-law, Yosil and their wives & family.
A committal service for Eleanor will be held Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Emanu El Memorial Park, 8341 Bissonnet St, Houston, TX 77074. Following the committal service will be a reception from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Earthman Funeral Directors, 4525 Bissonnet St, Bellaire, TX 77401.
