So thankful to have made so many special memories with  Eunice.   She was a kind and thoughtful friend.  We shared so many good times and with each precious meeting I gained a better understanding of the phrase “a life well lived.”  Fly high Eunice, knowing that the love you shared while on earth will continue to radiate and resonate in the lives of all who knew you.  My heartfelt condolences to Arthur and all of Eunice’s family.  

My heartbreaks to hear of your passing.  There was so much time that I missed out on. I'm sorry I wasn't always there.

My memories come from when I was younger and spending the summer with you and Author.   We always had toast and grapefruit for breakfast.  To this day I can't eat grapefruit without thinking of you. I remember Author would always make sure I had a bowl of jello with fruit for my visits.  I'm pretty sure it was the best jello I've ever had.  Some of the best days were spent down at the pool with Grandma just swimming. I believe my love for shoes came from her. I remember staying in the spare bedroom and on the back of the door were all her heels. Some were the same shoe just different colors. I would always sneak to try them on.  She was so beautiful, I always admired how she was always dressed to impress. 

These memories may seem small but they will always be special to me. I'm blessed that she was able to meet her great grandchildren before she passed.  Another memory that I will hold near to my heart!

You will be missed. I love you Grandma.

How precious you were to us and your granddaughter and great granddaughters. You taught me so many new things, a side of life and culture otherwise I wouldn't have got to know. All the laughter and great stories you shared and loved to tell, I will cherish forever. Thank you for never stopping loving me. Rest in God's eternal and divine peace and joy sweet lady. Condolences from the board of Mountbatten House on your loss. Eunice was a beautiful, generous person and very active in her support of charities.  Not only did she hold many positions in the  Daughters of the British Empire (DBE) at State and National levels but was a past President of Mountbatten House, an Assisted Living facility in Highlands, Texas, supported by the DBE Eunice loved the residents and worked tirelessly to ensure their comfort and wellbeing.  She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Eunice was my Great Aunt. I will always remember how glamorous she was, always dressed immaculately, sparkling in her gold jewellery. I remember when Eunice & Arthur bought us a big mouth billy bass ornament over from the US, I found it hilarious and erupted with laughter as did they. That generosity defined her personality and her sense of humour was second to none. 

One memory that resonates for me is she used to say to me “mi casa es tu casa” meaning my house is your house. Eunice was always so welcoming, her hospitality was a shining example of the warmth and friendliness she exuded in spades. 

Unfortunately, I never had the chance to visit their home or Argentina where they used to stay, one day I hope to and I’ll be toasting you, Eunice, with a glass of champagne. I will miss your charm, your wonderfully infectious laughter and your stories from your travels all over the world. I’ve lost my aunt but heaven has gained an angel, rest in peace, god bless and I love you. X

She loves music, and she loves sing to, she was the strongest lady I ever met, She always told me that we have the power to chose if we going to have a good or bad day, and Eunice always chose to have a good day, we will never forget her happiness, and we petty sure we’ll met again

Eunice was our great Aunt and although we didn’t see her much we have some great memories of Eunice and Arthur visiting England at Christmas time and enjoying Christmas Day with us. 
Eunice was always so glamorous and her laugh infectious. Her gorgeous handbags and Perfect hair. 
I loved hearing the conversations on the phone to her sister Norma (our Nan) who adored her sister very much. Eunice was always so positive and upbeat and full of life.   
I know how much she will be missed, so many friends who loved her dearly and of course her beloved Arthur. 
Rest in peace Eunice, you loved life and you will never be forgotten. Xxx 

One word comes to mind when describing my Great Aunt Eunice and that’s ‘Unique’.  She really was one in a million. An amazing lady who always had the biggest smile and kindest heart. 

I have many memories throughout my life of both Eunice & Arthur. From staying at their home in Houston, riding around Bromley in their red Ford Sierra to taking them both to a garden party at Buckingham Palace. 

When we departed company we would never say “goodbye” but always “see you later.”  So for now Eunice I will say it once again, “see you later”.  

Sleep well Eunice. You’ll be forever in my thoughts xx

I was fortunate to become part of the family when I married Eunice’s late nephew “Ray Havard”.  We have shared lots of fun times with Eunice when she came to England to visit. She would come to our home where we made lots of happy memories, especially of Eunice dancing around our kitchen with her sister Norma - waltzing away to the songs of Patsy Cline, and sharing a glass or two of her favourite wine! I also had the pleasure of visiting Eunice in her home town in America. We made so many memories during my stay and ones that I will cherish forever! You will never be forgotten. Sweet dreams Eunice. The Daughters of The British Empire (DBE) State board and all of its members in Texas extend their deepest condolences to Eunice's family, Eunice will be remembered fondly as an active, lively member of the DBE in Texas. She will be missed very much. She was active in the organization and she and Arthur were always very supportive of the DBE.
Our very best wishes and heartfelt sympathies to all concerned.

Eunice was my great aunt.
I have many fond memories growing up of when Eunice and Arthur would visit us in the Uk.
I remember as a child both of them and my nan walking up Albert road from my nan’s house at 67 and past ours at number 2 on their way to the shops on Chatterton road and we would always tell our friends they were our great relatives from Texas in America.
I will miss you Eunice and feel so lucky to have had you in my life.
Rest in peace and see you again one day. My thoughts are with you Arthur and we are always here if you need us or just for a chat.

We were saddened to hear Mrs. Edelstein passed away. While we did not know her personally, conversations with Mr. Edelstein during the course of business always included comments about Mrs. Edelstein and their travels and adventures.

We know she will be greatly missed by friends, family and most importantly, Mr. Edelstein. May your memories of joy, laughter and togetherness help ease your pain and make you smile.

I am Eunice’s Sister Norma my daughter will write a memory for me as I am suffering from Dementia.

As sisters we were very close and through out the years always kept in contact by phone and  many visits  when Eunice came to England.  We would go out for meals and to the social clubs to have our occasional glass of wine. Then on to the Dance
My mum and dad travelled to Hong Kong with Eunice and Arthur they had a wonderful time

Eunice was my mums sister and my Dear Auntie Eunice she was always like a mum to me and was my BEST  friend. I remember her visiting us from the states many a time when I was small. She would take me shopping and always spoil me . My vivid memory was  when Eunice bought me my pedal pushers (stripped trousers) I just loved them.  Eunice had such a big Heart I will miss her phone calls very much we did used to have a giggle . I consider myself very lucky to have had Eunice in my life also I have those many special memories that I spent with Eunice when I came over to the states with my husband and also when Eunice spent time with us in England. Rest  in peace we will meet again my sweet. 

Eunice and our Family shared life long memories, since 1985.
Our wine evenings, sharing SPA days, Hair appointments, shopping, Dr. Martin, and All Creatures great and small ( original versions) were shared topics and days.
The void she has left with our family , and Her many friends, will long be felt.
We were so Blessed she loved us.

We have been friends with Eunice  & Arthur for over 15 years and we love them dearly.  We have shared many happy times together.  Arthur, you are in our prayers.

Eunice was one of my longest friends... 51yrs. We had long since decided we were sisters. We worked together for Braniff but our friendship carried over into our families. We traveled together & were able to share memories that stayed with her to the end. I sat wih her thru her cancer & drew strength from being with her when mine was diagnosed. And we could both still laugh about it all.  Our last outing was 3 weeks ago, a trip to Tony’s for wine & chips & giggles.  I will miss you so very much but sisters share memories that last forever.
