Jennifer, I just found out about Fonda’s passing.
I loved  being her neighbor for many years in Bellaire.       She was truly a remarkable woman.      I am sorry for your loss.

Hello Jennifer and all, 
Wow, what an amazing mom you had. She was always so happy and upbeat, always ready with  a little funny story to make everyone smile and laugh. Her tremendous faith and trust in Jesus was such an inspiration to all. I loved being around her at the Wayland Hancock Real Estate Office on Sat. when I had floor duty. I am sorry I cannot say how sorry I am for your loss in person tonight. But I want you to know Charlie and I are thinking of you and praying for a beautiful evening tonight as you gather and share ALL the wonderful memories you have. I pray that you all will find comfort in these tonight and during the coming months. I will miss seeing her in the choir. I feel I just saw her singing not that long ago. The gift of God, she used it well
Sewing a button here, a zipper there or a hem that fell
The pattern most used on her journey in life
The one designed by God, free of hate and strife
With every stitch of friendship, kindness & love
She graced it with laughter, a smile or a hug
Never a zig zag in Faith & Trust
In the face of a challenge, to be steadfast is a must
Now she is finished and the knot is tied
The seam is secure where love abide

To Jennifer, Jamie and The Campbell Family: 

You have my deepest sympathy and love. I was sad to hear of my dear friends transition and thinking of no more phone calls and hearing her jokes.  Those jokes brought laughter to others as I passed them on.  We enjoyed many fun, happy years at Wayland Hancock and Frost and just keeping in touch.  She is my Faith Hero and the example she was to so many on keeping the faith and trusting God through life's challenges and losses. I will miss her but I will never forget her. Precious Fonda. .. now resides with the Lord and her many loved ones.   Fonda and Rip loved to be with people, thus my parents square danced, played volleyball, cards, and dominoes with the Campbells.   There was always such good food when they were all together.  Fonda sewed for me.  She made my wedding dress and other dresses for my honeymoon in 1972.  She was a blessed person to be around.   My sympathies to Jennifer and the rest of the family.  Don't you know Fonda is having a good time being in heaven with friends; Aunt Rene, now Catherine Bertelsen, Merrie Quick Brigman, and my Dr. Joe M. Moody.   I know the jokes are being told, and she might have already sewed a dress or two.   God rest her soul. 

I was very young when we moved to Palestine, but I remember the first person that we met was Fonda. My mother did not have a car at that time if it wasn't for her I don't know what we would have done. She helped my mother and so many ways. Nothing but fond memories oh, a very gracious lady.

I loved being around your family and playing with all your brothers, but l especially remember your beautiful red headed Mother always making me feel special. She would slice potatoes very thin and fry them and l discovered potato chips! I thought she was magical and l couldn’t wait to tell my Mother what an amazing time l had! This is my favorite memory of Fonda Campbell. Special prayers for all her loved ones as they say good bye and she is welcomed home with our Lord and Savior.

Fonda was my first link to the Campbell family, and it was impossible not to feel warmly toward her from our first acquaintance. She liked to laugh and share corny jokes - it ran in the family - and once, when I really needed someone to talk to, she was there for me. 

I will remember her as a kind, gentle and even-keeled person whose faith was her rock. During a life well lived, she met and overcame considerable challenges with exemplary grace, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

My deepest sympathies to her daughter, Jennifer, and her family. Peace be with you.

Ms Campbell was such a quiet, sweet spirit and mom to one of my closest high school friends. She was always so kind to me. 
I watched her grieve the loss of two sons and a husband with such dignity and grace.  I know her heart was broken but she continued to live out her faith until age 91, trusting her hope in the Solid Rock.  She’s now with Jesus. What a life well lived. 

For so many, Fonda was the first person they spoke with at Wayland Hancock/Frost Insurance Agency and she made all feel welcome.  My prayers are with your family at this time.
