Inez Theresa Kronenberger Malek

Inez Theresa Kronenberger Malek, age 96, passed away October 6, 2011. She was born October 20, 1914 in Bremond, Texas. Inez was the Secretary/Bookkeeper at St. Thomas More Church from 1962-1975, and the Associate Director at St. Dominic Center from 1975-1992. After her retiring April 15, 1992, Inez enjoyed volunteering at St. Dominic Village, she started the cookies and coffee after the Sunday masses. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Malek, Sr. Inez is survived by her son, Frank A. Malek, Jr. and his wife Mary Ann; daughters, Carolyn Malek Weber-Oursland and her husband Daniel, Conalee Malek Konduros Gosnell and her husband Larry, and Flo Malek Baker and her husband Phil; sister, Cornelia Kronenberger DeBell; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the Wake Service at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2011. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2011, with the Rev. Msgr. Fred O'Connor, Celebrant, both services will be in the Warren Chapel at St. Dominic Village, 2401 Holcombe Blvd. Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Frank A. Malek, III, Chris E. Malek, David W. Malek, Dennis K. Malek, Scott V. Weber, D. Jeffrey Weber, Gregg J. Konduros, Sam J. Konduros and Phillip L. Baker.

In lieu of flowers, Inez requested donations to St. Dominic Village, 2401 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, TX 77021. Attn: Ruth Stanley
