John Dennis Hansen

A long-time employee of Amegy Bank, Dennis graduated from the University of Texas and served with distinction in the United States Army and the Army Reserves.

Dennis was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Laura Hansen, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hansen of Harlingen, Texas and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Nils Hansen also of Harlingen, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Judith Hansen, his brother Rod Hansen of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, his sisters Betty Anne Galvan of San Antonio, Texas and Pamela Hansen of Ft. Meyers, Florida as well as nieces Jennifer Galvan Bean and Lisa Galvan of Houston, and nephew Patrick Galvan of San Antonio, Texas.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 10:45 am at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038.
