John “Jack” Bruce Wallace, 83, passed away May 8, 2010. He was born in Tecumseh, KS and lived in Bellaire most of his life. Jack worked as an engineer in the oil and gas business. He was a loving husband, father, and “Papa”. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Suzanne Wallace Cunningham. Jack is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 62 years Beverly Rose Klugg Wallace; daughter, Lisa Jordan, son, David Wallace and wife Margaret of McGregor, TX.; grandchildren, Christina Jordan, Richard and Valerie Cunningham; sister, Fay Aleen Hamilton of Sudbury, MA.; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris St. A Graveside Service will be held 3:30 p.m., Thursday May 13, 2010 at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Rd. The family is eternally grateful to the doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Lukes Hospital for the loving care given to Jack in his final days.
