Larry Donald Archibald Sr., 85 peacefully went to be with the Lord and his beloved wife of 61 years on Wednesday January 4, 2017 in Houston, Texas. A longtime resident and business man of Houston, Larry was born April 20, 1931 in Crocket Mills, Tennessee to the late John and Lucille Archibald. He was one of six children and is survived by his only sister, Doris Hurst. He moved his wife and three children to Houston Texas in 1966. He was an exceptional car salesman at Jack Roach Ford for over 20 years that worked very hard to eventually buy his own car lot in Stafford, Texas in 1993, where he never met a stranger. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Bellaire and continued to be active when the church moved; he was a man of faith, loyalty and service. He is now reunited with his beloved Betty who passed in 2010. He was a loving Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, Larry is survived by his three children, Jane Archibald, Larry D. Archibald, Jr (Donnie) and wife Laura and youngest daughter Alice Archibald. Grandsons, Scott Archibald and wife Jennifer, their children Kimberly and soon to be born son Owen, Jason Archibald and his children Hope and Ryder.
