

LEO WOODROW WROTEN, 96, was born in Victoria, TX on December 26, 1918, and died May 28, 2015. He is predeceased by Leona Mae Waddell Wroten, his devoted wife of 72 years. Leo is survived by his two sons, Richard Woodrow Wroten and his wife Sharon Elaine Taylor Wroten of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Craig Alan Wroten and his wife Wanda Wooten Wroten of Houston, five grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. He was an Army Air Force veteran, serving our country in WWII. A charter member of Willow Meadows Baptist Church, he was an avid bowler, fisherman, and traveler. A 33rd degree Mason, Leo was active in Arabia Temple Shriners Bowlers, Wrecking Crew, Greeters, and S.P. Waltrip AF&AM Lodge No. 1328.
Visitation is at 1pm, Monday, June 1, 2015 at Willow Meadows Baptist Church, 4300 W. Bellfort St., Houston TX, followed by funeral service at 2pm. Interment will be at 4pm at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, I-45 North Freeway (exit 62) Rankin/ Kuykendahl on right.
