Martin was born in Brooklyn, New York to Irving and Rose Gordon on February 26, 1934. He graduated from City College of New York and graduated with a Business Administration – Economics degree. He was active in his synagogue, Congregation Shaar Hashalom, for over 30 years where he served as President and made lifelong friends. Later in life, he was a substitute teacher in the Clear Creek Unified School District, an active participant with HAPS (Houston Area Parkinson Society) and enjoyed his friends and activities (especially BINGO) at Prestonwood Court in Plano.
Martin is survived by his daughters Beth Gordon and Wendy Gordon, son in-law Tony Esch and his brothers Allen and Donald Gordon.
Graveside Service will be held at Forest Park East Cemetery, in Webster, Texas on Monday, June 26, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.
