Nigel Zuniga

Nigel Zuniga passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 24, 2017 in Houston, Texas. Nigel was born February 21, 1964, in Punta Gorda, Belize to Faustino Zuniga (deceased) and Macaria Flores (deceased). Nigel came to the United States in 1984 and joined the U.S. Navy were he proudly served on active duty until 1992 and on reserve duty until 2004. He graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Criminal Justice and later went on to pursue his Master's degree.

Nigel lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: chatting, and spending time with his with friends and family. He had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Nigel never met a stranger and was able to touch and change many lives by making each person he met feel special. He will best be remembered for his big bright smile. He is survived by his wife, Lisa; children Nigel, Analicia and Cristian; siblings Arthur, Alric, Paul "Denzil", Gertrude, Ruth, Margaret, Vivian, Elvira, Michael and Eugene (deceased); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
