

Pat was born in Port Arthur, Texas on December 30, 1935 to James Dougal Campbell and Ruby Harris Campbell. She attended school in Port Arthur until graduation from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1953. Pat went on to attend East Texas Baptist University later transferring to Baylor University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1957. After graduation, Pat became an elementary school teacher and taught for eight years. On December 28, 1963, she married Tommy R. Turner with whom she had one daughter, Leigh Ann. Pat had a creative, artistic personality and used her talents at church decorating for events, creating artwork that was framed and displayed there, doing bulletin boards, and also in teaching Sunday school, VBS, and ESL classes. Pat enjoyed music and sang in the church choir for most of her life.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents, her only sister, Mary Louise Bledsoe, her brother-in-law, Billy Turner, and his wife, Vicki.
Pat is survived by her husband, Tommy Turner, daughter, Leigh Ann Turner Hackerman, son-in-law, Christopher Hackerman, grandchildren, Laraleigh and Lane Hackerman, cousin, Bettye Stembridge, nieces and nephews, Janis Colletti, James A. Bledsoe III, Kristi Clawson, and Trent Turner as well as several great nieces and nephews, brother-in-law, James Bledsoe, brother-in-law, Donny Turner and his wife, Janice, brother-in-law, Kenneth Turner and his wife, Sandra, and long time family friends, Billie and Harvey Brown and Mary Lee and Cliff Rees.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Geraldine Salmeron, Mary Sweeten, and the nurses and staff of Garden Terrace Nursing Home, Unit E.
