Peter...Just searched for you and found you have been gone for 10 years. We, Bill and I still talk of you and MariCarmen, even though it's been 37 years since we left Houston. MariCarmen, Bill's Spanish teacher for a month and you and Nicholas who was just a new baby in 83, stayed in our fondest memories. Your Halloween parties were legendary. I was very sad to hear of Peter's passing.The relationship was buisness related but when in our shop he was like family and will be missed by all here that knew him. I smile as I think of him walking with God now.

After knowing Peter a few minutes he treated you like a friend for life.  We all should have Peter's zest for life and the desire to keep doing. He surely will be missed but he has made many of us better for knowing him.

I was so sad to hear of Peter's passing.  He will be missed by all of us.  I'll never forget the holidays at the Fontanot's and Peter's great sense of humor.  Your entire family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I was so sorry to hear the news. Peter was so generous, kind and was just fun to be around. I will miss him and Maricarmen and Nicholas have my deepest sympathy.

It has been one of the great privileges of my life to have known Peter Wiedemann.  He was my friend and a personal hero. Peter embraced life and lived it to its fullest.  While many people may understandably feel confined to a wheel chair, Peter never did.  For Peter, there were no walls, only opportunities.  In all the time we spent together, I never once heard him complain about his limitations.  He had none, and he knew it.  He was, and will be, an inspiration.
He was blessed with a wonderful wife, whose dedication and daily effort made it possible for Peter to be the man he was.  He was also blessed with a son, Nicholas, of whom he was so proud of and whose accomplishments were one of the great joys of his life.
It is not too much to say that the world is a lesser place for his passing. Peter was one of those special people we are occasionally lucky enough to meet in our lives.
I am so very thankful for the opportunity and so very sad that I will not see him again in this life.
Peter, I am sure you know by now, is there tequila in heaven?

I had the great privilege to work with and for his independence while an OT at TIRR and privately.  He taught me so much about the evolution of driving systems for special needs drivers and yet would have loved to drive his sports car over his van.  Nicholas, he was so proud of you and he told me every time I saw him.  My heart felt condolences go out to his devoted wife and his wonderful family.  God bless you Peter, I will miss you.  The world was a better place while you were in it.

I'll miss him.  He was a great guy with a wealth of knowledge helping me learn more about international things than I could have ever imagined.

I worked directly for Peter at Ranger Insurance Company for several years in the 90’s and have many great memories from that time.  He always had a positive attitude and was truly an inspiration.  Along with some other Ranger colleagues we had lunch a couple of times in the last few years  and I very much regret we didn’t get together again after that.  Working with Peter I also got to know his wife and son, MariCarmen and Nicholas, and I extend to them my deepest sympathy and condolences.

I had the pleasure to meet Peter recently, and enjoyed his spirit.  He will definitely be missed by everyone who knew him.  May you all take comfort knowing he is with God now, and may God give his family and friends the strength to make it through this difficult time.

An amazing man wo knew no obstacles who shared his love for his family and friends. I was pleased and honored to work with Pete in the past and he will surely be missed.  My prayers go out to his son and his wife whom he spoke of often.

I worked at Ranger (1978-83 and 1991-94).  Peter always impressed and amazed me.  I never saw him 'down', and really enjoyed his sense of humor.  I also enjoyed working with him because he was always thorough and did his best to cover everything from A to Z and more.  I remember being surprised (at first) in the lunch room when I heard him having a conversation in German, and then a few days later another in Spanish.  I suspect he is the only person I've known that was so completely tri-lingual with no indication that he spoke other languages.  I still fondly remember watching him cross Sage at lunch time - watching the oncoming traffic with 'his look' of "I dare you to hit me!".
My sincere condolences to you at this time.  He was a great fellow to know and admire.

I knew Peter through working with him in OT at TIRR.  He was a very nice gentleman and I always enjoyed my interactions with him. I will miss seeing him but so glad to have known him.  The family will be in my prayers.  Theresa Gregorio-Torres
