Raymond Benjamin Ploch

Raymond Ben Ploch, born December 9, 1927, passed from this earth at age 93 on January 26, 2021 to join his maker in heaven. There he joins his wife, Gertrude Trial Ploch, who predeceased him. He is survived by his 4 sons and their wives: Timothy and his wife Donna, Gary and his wife Barbara, Jeff and his wife Eileen, and Steve and his wife Beth. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Diana Ploch, Erin Ploch Hunnicutt and her husband Johnny Hunnicutt, Brandon Ploch, Sean Ploch, Ben Ploch, and Luke Ploch. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and he was a veteran of World War II, joining at the age of 17 and serving proudly in the Navy.

Visitation will be Monday evening at Earthman Funeral Home February 8th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, with a Vigil service at 6:45 pm followed by a short eulogy and time for anyone to speak about Ray, at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 4525 Bissonnet, Bellaire, TX 77401. Funeral mass will be held Tuesday February 9th at 11:30 am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 8200 Roos, Houston, TX 77036. Rite of committal will follow at 2:00 pm at the Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77038.
