Tara Lynn Leo

Tara Thomas Leo, 45, died peacefully on May 22, 2015 in Austin, Texas, surrounded by her loving family, after a brave battle with cancer. She lived life with joy, passion, and sparkle! Rather than focusing on the battle, she focused on the love and generosity around her. “I’m so wrapped in love and friends,” she wrote.

Born April 30, 1970, in Houston, Texas, she lived in Los Angeles, California before settling in Austin where she owned and managed Sweet Caroline’s Snow Shack with her devoted husband and partner in everything, Jeremy Leo.

Tara is survived by her husband, Jeremy, her mom, Patricia, her sisters and brothers-in-law, Angela and Will, Kelly and David, her uncle Jimmy, and her nieces and nephews, Paige, William, Weston and Caroline. She is further survived by her loyal and faithful friends. She is preceded in death by her dad, Tommy, and her grandparents.

A Visitation will be held beginning at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 26, 2015 followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris St. The Interment will then follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
