Virginia Berberian Varteressian, age 88, passed away January 12, 2012. She was born in New York City on September 2, 1923. Virginia graduated from Hunter College in New York City. She retired from the Jones School of Business at Rice University where she was a Librarian for over 15years.
Virginia is survived by daughter, Victoria Varteressian; son, Peter Varteressian and his wife Eileen; grandchildren, Chris, Karen and Jenny Varteressian.
Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 noon, Friday, January 20, 2012 at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., where she will be buried with her husband Levon Varteressian, followed by a Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m., at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1015 Holman at Main St., Houston, TX 77004.
