Anna Mae Hopp (nee Petry), 99, of Belleville, IL passed away peacefully on Friday, 3/28/2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born in Jackson County, IL to Edward and Mary (nee Bergman) Petry. Ms. Hopp was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Ladies of the Moose, and the Senior Citizens Club. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Ms. Hopp is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Hopp; a brother, James (Wanda) Petri; and a sister, Irene Eisenhauer.
She is survived by her son, David (Kathleen) Hopp; daughter, Mary Jane (Donald) Vosse; grandchildren, Brian Hopp, Shane (Sara) Vosse, and Thomas (Diane) Vosse; and great grandchildren, Ryan and Evan Vosse and Amanda and Savanna Vosse.
Services: Friends may call on Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 9-11 a.m. at Valhalla-Gaerdner-Holten Funeral Home, 3412 Frank Scott Parkway West, Belleville, IL 62223. Service is at 11 a.m. with entombment to follow. Expressions of condolence may be offered at www.valhallagardensandfuneralhome.com.
