Barbara Ann Phillips

Mrs. Phillips spent her life taking care of other people whether it was in a nursing home or her loved ones. She took joy in being around the people she loved. In her spare time her interests were coloring, sewing, and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Phillips whom she married on March 6, 1954; her parents Arnold Chitty and Zelda Schulte; her brother Joseph Schulte; her sister Arlene Chitty; and her brother-in-law’s, Robert “Bob” Roeper and Robert “Bob” Adams.

Surviving is her daughter Belinda (Kenny) Brown of Smithton, Ill.; her grandchild Brittany (Kelly) Langley of Shiloh, Ill.; her great grandchild Melody Langley; her sisters, Patricia Roeper of New Baden, Ill. and Sheila Adams of O’Fallon, Mo.; her sister-in-law Mary Schulte of Collinsville, Ill.; long time caregiver and friend Shannon Ott; many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

Funeral: Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 39, 2016 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home. Interment will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory.
