

Mrs. Roth lived most of her life in Belleville, Ill. After the death of her husband Harold, Bert made her living working for Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Kimball, for more than 50 years. She also worked as an accomplished seamstress famed for her custom drapery and slip covers. She was an avid gardener and had a particular fondness for flowers and birds. In addition to her love for Coca Cola she also had a passion for bingo and dancing. She was well traveled, including an impromptu trip to Indonesia at nearly 80 years of age. Bertha's warm and friendly nature will be greatly missed by her neighbors, friends and family.
She was preceded in death by husband Harold Roth; daughter, Darlene (Sue); son, Ronald; grandson, Rick "Steve"; and siblings, Mary, Alma, Elsie, Dorothy, Emil, John, Charles, Ernest, Vernon and Raymond.
Surviving are her grandchildren, Debra, Regina "Gina" and Michael, Barbara Wiechert, Victoria Roth- Bailey:great-grandchildren, Lindsay, Jesse, Anna, Tessa, Lisa, Reeve, Mathew and Mia, Nancy, John , Amie and Chelsea; and great-great-grandson, Maxwell.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
