Deborah Ann Lydens

Debbie was born July 19, 1949, in East St. Louis, IL to James and Ruth (MacZura) Dale. She married Robert Lydens in 1977; and he preceded her in death in 2006. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Tom Dale and her son-in-law, Mike Crowell.

Debbie is survived by her daughter, Dale Ann Crowell (Jason LeClair) of Collinsville, IL; grandson, Michael Crowell of Collinsville, IL; and her beloved nieces, nephew, cousins and dear family friends.

Debbie passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, warm smile, and caring heart.

She worked for many years in the office at Dr. Orelt’s practice in Belleville, IL, where she was a friendly and comforting presence to many. Later, she owned and operated a home healthcare company in the Metro East area, continuing her dedication to helping others.

Debbie had a deep love for cats, which brought her great joy and comfort throughout her life. She adored them and found happiness in their companionship.

Above all, Debbie loved her family and cherished every moment with them. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Service details will be updated as they become available.

Memorial donations may be made to an animal rescue organization of the donor’s choice, in memory of Debbie’s love of cats.
