Sue and dear family--I was just sitting here at the computer, and Denny suddenly popped into my head. I last saw you and Denny, with your little canine-child at the chili cook-off, and Sue, you were feeding the little dog with a spoon. I laughed so hard!  That was many years ago. So, I was sitting here, tonight, and I smiled and thought, "So, whatever happened to Sue and Dennis Malacarne?"  I put his name in the search engine, and there it was: February 23, 2011. I am so, so sad to hear of Denny's passing. He was someone that I remember was always smiling, and always had a big hug for everyone. He always made me feel important, and valued as a human being. I am so sad.  Denny will be sorely missed by all. (((hugs to Denny, forever)))

My name is Cher and I knew Denny a long long time ago back when he and Steve had the wegde hope I spelled that right. The bar in Smithton any way I was his girlfriend and lived with him for a while in Belleville IL. A friend of called today and told me of Dennys passing it made me really sad. He was a great guy and Im sure a wonder father and husband. My prayers are for you and your family.

I am saddened by the news of Denny's passing.  I will never forget the way him, Mike Turner and dad sat in the back of the reception hall at our wedding and had a great time enjoying each other's company.  He will be greatly missed.

Sometimes we are lucky enough in life to meet and become friends with someone extra special. This was Denny. He was so loved, always had a smile and was always there for his friends.  He touched many of us in a way that we could never forget him.  He made us laugh and now he makes us cry.  We will miss you, dear friend.  We haven't seen you in many, many years but you will live in our hearts.

I was a teacher, counselor, and still part-time as the wellness coordinator at Belleville East High School.  Dennis was the BEST!  He always offered to help you when you needed it and never refused a request.  He always greeted me whenever I was on campus in the most friendly way with a huge smile. Denny always had a great smile on his face and was so excited about life! So sorry to hear about his passing. I teach at East and he would always open up the doors for me on the weekends very early on in my career here at the school.  We will miss him! Praying blessings of peace for the family and friends.
