Donald Erwin

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Olinda (Dammerich) Erwin, his wife, Ruth Ann (Dreyer) Erwin, brothers: Norman Erwin, Arnold Erwin, and Harvey (Red) Erwin.

Donald is survived by sister, Marilyn Schnur of Mascoutah, Illinois, sister-in-law, Kathleen Dreyer of Belleville, Illinois and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donald had served his nation valiantly in the United States Navy. When he was discharged from the Navy, he went to work at Jefferson Metals, St. Louis as a Tool & Die Specialist.

During his free time, Donald enjoyed working on cars and small engines.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 13th, 2022 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 13th, 2022 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois with Pastor Michelle Torigian officiating.

Burial will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or the donor’s choice.
