Mrs. Watkins was a former owner of K&W Drive Inn, member of Eastview Baptist Church and AARP.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Watkins, who died in 1992; parents, Harry and Olivia, nee Schwartz, Kettler; brothers, Harry Kettler, Robert Kettler; sister, Maxine Helmholt; sister-in-law, Millie Kettler; brother-in-law, Bud Helmholt.
She is survived by her two sons, Jack (Cathy) Watkins, Frank Watkins; sisters, Myra (James) Knorr, Theda Jean Kettler; sisters-in-law, Joann Kettler, Vicki Kettler great granddaughters, Ava and Sophia, and great grandson, Alexander, and nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Doris’s name may be to the St Louis Shriners Children’s Hospital.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 11am at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, 3412 Frank Scott Pkwy West, Belleville, IL 62223.
