Dorothy A. “Dot” Earp (nee Steele), 66, born March 20, 1947 in Modesto, CA passed away on October 21, 2013 at her residence in Belleville, IL. Dot retired as a Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force after 23 years of dedicated service. She was very proud to have made the cover of Women’s Daily magazine for starting the Desert Care program. Dot married Jonathan, the love of her life, on July 4, 1982 in Arlington, TX and had a zest for life with Jon and their many beloved furry children.
Ms. Earp was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Hazel (nee Rice) Steele.
She is survived by her husband, Jonathan P. Earp of Belleville; a brother, Daniel A. Steele (Shelley) of Modesto, CA; nieces, Nichole, Erika, and Christina; and other relatives and numerous friends.
