Dorothy Fietsam

Mrs. Fietsam was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, the Belleville Senior Citizens, and the Women of the Moose 1221. She was instrumental in the rebuilding of the current Henry Raab School. She was an avid Cardinal fan, and enjoyed quilting, cards and bingo.

Mrs. Fietsam was a wonderful wife and loving mother and grandmother, her greatest joy was when she was surrounded by her family and her many dear friends whom she treasured.

Mrs. Fietsam was a woman of great faith and was devoted to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Dorothy will be solely missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Fietsam was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer A. Fietsam; grandson, Keith Fietsam; parents, Martin and Emma, nee Travis, Daniels; siblings, Ward Daniels and John Daniels; sister and brother in law, Dorothy and Ray White.

Surviving are her loving and devoted sons, Daniel (Donna) Fietsam of Belleville, Illinois, Gordon (Debbie) Fietsam of Millstadt, Illinois and Marty (Bonnie) Fietsam of Belleville, Illinois, grandchildren, Jeffrey (Kathie) Fietsam, Ryan (fiance’ Heather Dahm) Fietsam, Adam Fietsam and Andrea Fietsam, granddaughter in law, Katie Fietsam; great granddaughter, Kaitlyn Fietsam. Dorothy was also survived by other relatives, family and friends.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 3 pm. on Monday, August 24, 2015 at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois
