Dorothy M. Reichert

Dorothy M. Reichert, nee Kitchen, 100, of Belleville, IL, born August 2, 1920 in Belleville, passed away December 23, 2020 in Millstadt, IL with her family by her side.

Dorothy enjoyed yard sales and going to auctions. Above all, she will long be remembered as an avid reader

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Armin C. Reichert, who passed away in 1998; her parents, Jesse and Katherine, nee Stein, Kitchen; her son-in-law, Carson Kimbro; two grandsons, Daniel Robinette and Lane Kimbro; and a great grandson, Kaden Kimbro.

Mrs. Reichert is survived by her son, Kenneth Reichert; a daughter, Kathryn Kimbro; three grandchildren, Kyle (Bobbi) Kimbro, Dana Kimbro, and Dawn Robinette; four great-grandchildren, Tawni (Derick) Campbell, Becky Obernuefemann; Cale Kimbro, and Kayla Arpin, and great-great grandchildren; a cousin, Audrey Martin; as well as many other relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank and acknowledge Vitas Hospice for the special care and attention that they gave to Dorothy.

Funeral: Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Belleville.
