Emilie M. Remelius Ryan

Emilie was a precious daughter, beautiful sister, loving mother and wife, and a devoted friend. She was a wonderful and inspirational teacher to her students.

Emilie is survived by her husband, Jason Ryan; daughter, Gwendolyn; and son, Liam of Newbern, Tennessee; mother, Laura Remelius and stepfather Richard Remelius of Belleville, Illinois; sisters, Katie (Eric) Heinzl of Swansea, Illinois, Michele (Bob) Kozik of Belleville, Illinois, and Sherri (James) Klosty of Las Vegas, Nevada; father and mother in law, Mike and Lori Ryan; aunts, Alana (Alan) Kronenberger, Bonnie (Earl) DeVore, Lucille (Bob) Lippert, Debra Davis; uncle, Brian Hopp and beloved nieces, nephews, godchildren, and numerous cousins.

Memorials in Emilie’s memory may be made to her children’s trust fund, or the Sierra Club.

Funeral: Prayer services will be held at 10 am on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Valhalla-Gaerdner-Holten Funeral Home, with Deacon Bob Lippert officiating.
