Erma L. Yuengel

Mrs. Yuengel retired from St. Paul’s Home, and worked at the Belleville Shoe Company, during World War II. She enjoyed reading, especially country stories. On, February 16, 1946, she married the love of her life, Robert G. Yuengel. She was very family oriented and “Character “was of utmost importance. She was a loving mother and grandmother; that will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Beulah, nee Marlow, Headrick; her loving husband of 66 years, Robert G. Yuengel, Sr.; a son, David Yuengel; a brother, Earl “Bud” Headrick; and two sisters, Wanda Rutledge and Shirley Bunton.

Surviving are her children, Richard (Carmen) Yuengel, of Creal Springs, Illinois, Donna Terry, of Belleville, Illinois, Debra (Robert) Braun, of Swansea, Illinois; Robert (Brenda) Yuengel, Jr.; of Willis, Texas, Larry Yuengel, of Belleville, Illinois, Steven (Linda) Yuengel, of Belleville, Illinois, and Timothy (Denise) Yuengel, of Mt. Vernon, Iowa,; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and two sisters, Rosalie Hepp, of Fairview Heights, Illinois and Floramae Yuengel, of Swansea, Illinois.

Today we lost our mother.

Funeral: Services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at Christ the King Apostolic Church, O’Fallon, Illinois, with Pastor Larry Blake officiating. Interment will be held in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
