Eugenia “Jean” Arle Osborn, born on November 9, 1925, passed into Heaven on April 24, 2020. Jean was a family woman, with a knack for antiquing and refinishing items she could find at auctions. Jean was an outstanding caretaker for her 3 children, and their kids as well. A visit to Grandma Jean’s would always entail homemade noodles and a fruit pie of some kind. She was also an active member of The University of Illinois Home Extension Program, as well as the Rosamond Community Church.
Jean is preceded in death by her: husband, Forrest Osborn; parents, Frederick and Cleo Tedford; siblings, Charles Tedford, Mac Tedford, Marylou Mills, and Carol Hintz; siblings-in-law, Betty Tedford, Lloyd Goldsmith, Jack Mills, and Hank Hintz; children, Chuck Osborn; and children-in-law, James Wood, Rick Eckert, and Cindy Osborn.
Left to hold Jean in their hearts are her: sister, Anita Goldsmith; children, Shirley Wood, and Nancy Eckert; grandchildren, Forrest, Scott, Mike, Debra, and Stephanie; great-grandchildren, Rylee, Ryan, Kaysen, Ryker, and so many others who were fortunate enough to have Jean cross their paths.
Due to the matter of the times, there will be no public services at this time, and private service will be held at a later date.
