Frances A Turpin

Frances was a loving wife and mother. Her greatest joy was being a homemaker and a grandmother. After her children were grown, she worked happily at Walgreens and made many, many friends there.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vonnie, nee Hearn, and J.C. Leonard of Earle, Arkansas, two sisters, Marie (Arthur) Zachary, and Ollie Faye Leonard. Two brothers, Wallace (Mamie) Leonard, J.W. (Peggy) Leonard, two sisters-in-law Betty (Bill) Portman and Martha Dee “Monkey” Snyder (Bill) and a granddaughter Rebecca Leigh Hasenstab. She was also preceded by our much loved family dog, Candy.

Surviving are her loving husband of 56 years, Lynn “Sonny” Turpin, her children Connie Turpin (fiance’ Glenn Mehrtens), Cindy Boivin (James), and Cathy Hasenstab (Tim), all of Belleville. Grandchildren Michael Aasen, Katie Aasen, Brianne Jakes (Chris), Melissa Schmitt (Matt), Jenna Boivin, Joshua Boivin, Megan Boivin, Lauren Rompel (Travis), Alli Esker (Joel), and David Hasenstab. Great grandchildren Ian Joseph Schmitt, Raigan Rebecca Esker, a future great-granddaughter to be born in February, and a sister, Louise Philyaw (George) of Meridian, Ms. Sister-in-law Robbie (Charles) Snyder of Truman, Arkansas, and brother-in-law Bill (Betty) Portman of Orlando, FL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the SIDS Foundation or Lively Lungs located at Memorial Hospital.
