

Gertrude "GiGi" Williams, 94, of Granite City, Ill., formerly of Deltona, Fla., died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, at Gateway Regional Hospital, Granite City, Ill.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Florida, while living in Illinois she worked in sales, in Florida she was a real estate agent. She was a member of the Deltona Dollies, First President of the BPW and the first woman in real estate in Deltona, Fla. She was a member of several card clubs and loved going bowling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Williams; her parents, John Samuel and Willie Grey, nee Kelly, Dukes; a daughter, Patsy Johnston; four brothers; two sisters, Betty Ahlf; and one in infancy.
Surviving are her daughter, Carolyn (William J.) Belling of Granite City, Ill.; four grandchildren, Edward Belling of St. Louis, Mo., James (Jenice) Belling of Edwardsville, Ill., Randy (Christine) Belling of Edwardsville, IL and Greg Phillips of Little Rock, Ark.; seven great-grandchildren, Megan, Gabriel, Jessalyn (Chris) Link, Monica, Hilary, Jared, and Lauran; one brother, Ernest (Jolene) Dukes of Kingman, Ark.; two sisters, Lila Gronemeyer of Flint, Mich., and Barbara (Jim) Hoover of Leesburg, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Gene Dukes of Centralia, Ill.; nieces nephews and cousins.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home in Belleville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, at the funeral home with the Rev. Doug Pascoe officiating.
Committal service will be held at noon Friday, Dec. 2, at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery in Deltona, Fla.
