James A Gass

James is preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary (Preston) Gass, two sons, Michael Phillip Gass and James Gregory Gass, and one grandson, Jordan Michael Gass, two sisters, Florence (Ed) Nesbit, Dorothy (Virgil) Brawley, brother-in-law Frank Pizzo.

He is survived by his wife, Toni (Chaloupecky) Gass of Belleville, Illinois, son, Mark Gass of Belleville, Illinois, brothers, Joseph (Shirley) Gass of Belleville, Illinois, Larry “Bill” (Sharron) Gass of Marissa, illinois and granddaughters, Jenna Marie (David) Weissenborn, and Jodi (Bradley) Gregson and one sister-in-law, Peggy Pizzo of St. Charles, Missouri.

He is survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins & special friends.

James was an Electrician for 20 yrs. with Local 309. He enjoyed auto racing, motorcycle racing, and woodworking.

Memorial Gathering will be at 12:00 on Saturday, September 25 at Damascus Road Fellowship Church Hwy 161 & Frank Scott Parkway Belleville, Illinois.

Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 at Damascus Road Fellowship Church officiated by Vance Vyers.
