James was a Cement Mason, he was a member of the Cement Mason Local 90 , the 1st Baptist Church, O’Fallon, Illinois where he was involved in the life group. James loved the outdoors, he enjoyed nature and gardening. His most precious moments were spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
James was preceded in death by his loving wife Marikay Jean Schneider, nee Deien; and his parents, Daniel Phillip and Luanne, nee Carey, Schneider.
Surviving are his loving daughter, Jenna (Brandon) Dougherty; grandchildren, Gary, Jada, Dillon, Martie, Raelee and Reese; brothers, Dan (Naomi) Schneider and Bernie (Sue) Schneider; sisters, Mary (Mike) Brooks and Betty Anne Staimpel, also, survived by several dear friends, nieces, nephews and cousins.
