Jane “Rose” Hinton, nee Zimmerman, 82, of Belleville, Illinois, born, Dec 10, 1933 in East St. Louis, Illinois died Monday, October 3, 2016 at University Nursing and Rehab Center in Edwardsville, Illinois.
Rose was devoted spouse, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. She also was an avid bowler who participated for many years on local leagues.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth J. Hinton, and her parents, Raymond and Gladys, nee Hayes, Zimmerman.
Surviving is her son, Bill (Lanie) Hinton of Jacksonville, Florida, three grandchildren; Laurie (Matt Osborne) of Collinsville, Illinois, Janet Hinton of Pocahontas, Illinois, and Kathleen “Hanna” Hinton of Pocahontas, Illinois, a great grandson, Vhaughn, a brother Donald Zimmerman, and two sisters; Ellen (John) Miller, and Margie Knight, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
