Jeanette was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Smithton, IL, Womens’ Guild, Young at Hearts, Smithton Senior Citizens Club, and was a member of the choir at St. John’s and Christ United Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Aloid O. and , Laura “Dollie” L., nee McCraw Anderson
She is survived by her husband, Larry Walz, son David Walz (fiancé Chelsea McGeary), daughter Robin Walz, and grandson, Destin Castro. She is also survived by many relatives, family and friends.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 4 – 8 pm at Valhalla, Gaerdner, Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois. Funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home with Pastor Gregory Bouck officiating. Interment in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
