JoAnn Mary Oesterle

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Anna (Worms) Eifler, Jr., her husband, Kenneth Oesterle who passed away on August, 25th, 2020, and her first husband, Edward E. Mineman who passed on March 13th, 1994.

JoAnn is survived by sons, Blaine Mineman of Marissa, Illinois, Edward F. (Kristine) Mineman of Houston, Texas; her stepchildren Kevin (Jean Ellen) Oesterle of Swansea, Keith (Carolyn) Oesterle of Bethalto; and her grandchildren Blaine, Mary Kate, Maggie and Ellie Mineman of Chicago, and Justin and Jordan Mineman of Houston, Texas.

Before her retirement, JoAnn worked for many years in Civil Service at Scott Air Force Base. She enjoyed travel, Cardinals baseball, and spending time with her friends and family. She was a graduate of BTHS Class of 1951, a member of the Red Hat Ladies and St. Paul’s Church, and a long-time supporter of the St. Louis Zoo.

Memorial Gathering will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, April 21st, 2023 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.

Memorial Service will start at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 21st, 2023 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.

Inurnment will follow in Valhalla Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.
