LaWanda A. Haley Patton

Mrs. Patton was retired from Centerville Hospital. She enjoyed floral gardens and fishing. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother; who will be truly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Maude, nee Thurman, Haley; seven brothers; and a sister.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 34 years, Joe R. Patton, of Highland, Illinois; her children, Stanley Frederick of Fairview Heights, Illinois, Dennis (Bernadette) Frederick, of Belleville, Illinois; Sheila Sashankar, of Highland, Illinois, and Sharon (Ken) Podhrasky, of Highland, Illinois; her step-children, Michael (Denise) Patton, of Crystal City, Missouri and Ann (Mike) Stroll, of Dallas, Texas; nine grandchildren, Jason, Mandy, Candace, Krystal, Sarah, Stephanie, Shane, Dustin, and Terry; her great grandchildren, Madeline, Haley, Ethan, and one on the way; and a sister, Ann Collier, of Paragould, Arkansas.

Funeral: Services will be held at 6 p.m., Monday, June 25, 2012, at the funeral home, with Rev. Dr. Arthur Tinge officiating. Interment will be held privately in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
