

Lily’s passion was art and music. She created beautiful paintings, murals, crafts, Victorian dolls and her own costumes. She played the organ and loved singing for family and friends. She loved entertaining little kiddies young and old as “Lily the Witch” with her original poems in Branson, MO. She graduated High School then worked as a Harvey Girl at Union Station, during WWII worked at The Armory then a switchboard operator. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies and the American Legion Auxiliary. She most recently attended St. Augustine of Canterbury church.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Onstott, Jr.; 2 brothers; and 6 sisters.
Surviving are her son, Charles Onstott III of Melrose Park, IL; sister, Arlene Strayhorn of Villa Ridge, MO; sister-in-law, Wilma Risch; nephews, Roscoe E. (Marge) Womble, Bob (Barb) Onstott; special friend, Joni Milstead of Branson, MO, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.
Memorials may be made to the American Legion.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, August 28, 2015 at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 1:15 p.m., St Louis, MO
