Martha J Teter

She was a graduate and instructor at the Academy of Beauty Culture in Belleville. Later, she was the owner of Martha’s Beauty Mart which had several locations in the area. She also donated generously to many charitable organizations.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Teter; parents, Herbert & Jewel, nee Sherrod, McCormick; and 2 sisters, Joyce Snellenberger and Sandra Chastain.

She is survived by her nieces, Beth Lidisky; children, Chad, Caleb, and Caris and Denise Chastain; children, Alexandra and Adam; her husband’s stepson, Eugene Lloyd Witford; stepdaughter, Debra (Ismael) Garcia; grandchildren, Eugene Lloyd Witford Jr, Tammy Louviere, Bobby Gill, and April Kurtz, and several great grandchildren.
