Michael spent his younger years in the cerebral palsy program at SAVE and was an active participant in the Special Olympics, winning several medals for wheelchair races. He was particularly proud of his participation in the State Special Olympics held at Soldier’s Field in Chicago. Michael never let his physical disabilities hold him back and he loved getting out and going places.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Paul J. Feucht; his grandparents, Charles and Martha Lauf and Emil and Frieda Feucht; and his great aunt, Mildred Kassing.
Surviving are his devoted mother, Gloria Feucht; his brother, David (Cheryl) Feucht; a niece, Jennifer Feucht; a nephew, James Feucht; and many other relatives. Memorials in Michael’s honor are appreciated to the donor’s choice. Expressions of condolence may be offered at www.valhallagardensandfuneralhome.com.
A special thank you to Michael’s nurse, Tammy Ennor, for the loving care she gave to Michael.
Services are private with entombment at Valhalla Gardens of Memory
