Mike Theiss

He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Elnor (nee Hacker) Theiss, and brother-in-law, Michael Dinney.

Mike devoted his life to taking care of his beloved mother. After her passing, Mike bought his first home and adopted two kittens (Milo and Trouble). He was looking forward to retiring from Peerless Premier and living his best life. He had a uniquely wicked sense of humor, enjoyed working on the farm, and driving his car, Christine. Mike not only was a devoted son, but also a devoted brother, uncle, and friend to many.

Surviving are his three sisters: Karen Dinney, Kim (Steve) Dammerich, and Kelly Carron, all of Belleville, IL; seven nieces and nephews: Lisa (Christopher) Rolen of Red Bud, IL, Carla (Terry) Gibson of Belleville, IL, Michael (Pamala Juenger) Dinney of Belleville, IL, Karrie (Paul Ginter) Dinney of Belleville, IL, Amanda (Michael DeBoer) Dammerich of O'Fallon, IL, Matthew Knepper of Freeburg, IL, and Jennifer (Matthew "Reid") McClain of Mascoutah, IL; and five great nephews: Tyler Gibson, Chase Gibson, Cole Schneider, Connor Schneider, and Eli Knepper. We also want to thank the Glauber Family who were life-long friends of Mike, and who he considered family as well.

Memorials may be made to the Belleville Humane Society.

Friends and family may visit on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, immediately followed by a celebration of life at 7:00 PM.
