Ollie "Jean" Anderson

Jean was a dedicated military wife and mother who traveled and lived in many places with Frank and their sons. She was incredibly involved in her sons’ education by being a room mother, a PTA member, and volunteering in their classrooms. Jean was an extremely devoted mother, grandmother, and wife who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Jean loved country music and was a talented, self-taught guitarist and singer who enjoyed performing for others. She also enjoyed bowling with her friends, decorating, holiday gatherings, and cooking for her treasured family. Jean was well known for her southern cooking, especially chicken & dumplings, grits, and okra! She was a Baptist and a member of the Okaw Valley Classic Chevy Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady Roberts and Audrey (McDaniel) Roberts, and her beloved husband of 56 years, Frank Anderson.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Keith (Cindy Lou) Anderson, Van (Linda) Anderson, and Bart (Dawn) Anderson; grandchildren, Justin (Jess) Anderson, Julia (Hunter) Kennedy, Brett (Carli) Anderson, Chad Anderson, Jenna (Chris) Hughes, Lauren (Jake) Anderson, Matt and Jen Schulte, and Jay and Sarah Wellen; great-grandchildren, Jackson Webb, Anderson Blaze, Callen Anderson, McKenna Anderson, Tucker Anderson, Olivia Hughes, Mason Hughes, Emyrn Kennedy, Madisyn Schulte, Austin Schulte, and Tanner Wellen; plus countless dear friends.
