Ronald Arthur Engel

Ronald Arthur Engel, Age 78, Born February 21, 1932 in Belleville, Illinois, died on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at his residence with his loving wife by his side. Ronald was a retired Switchman for Alton and Southern Railroad. He served in the United States Navy and was a Korean War Veteran. Member of the Masons.

Mr. Engel is preceded in death by his parents Arthur Joseph and Myrtle, nee Lisch, Engel. Surviving are his wife Jacqulyne “Jackie” nee Bier, Engel. Daughter Pamela C. (Stephen) Mullen of Swansea, Illinois. Grandchildren; Robert Marion Craft, Lauren Taylor Mullen, Ashley Renee Mullen and Miki Mullen. Sister; Barbara (Bob) Bildner of St. Louis, Missouri, Nieces; Lisa Withers and Robin Rensing, Great Niece; Cassandra “Miss No” (Brandon) Groves and many great nieces and nephews. Life Long Friend Charles “Buddy” Gerling. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 10:00 AM Interment will take place following at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri,
