Rosma June Baldwin Eugea

Rosma June, nee Baldwin, Eugea, 82 of Belleville, Illinois, Born May 3, 1929 in Noble Township, Richland County, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Cedarhurst of Shiloh, Shiloh, Illinois.

Mrs. Eugea worked at the American Water Company in Belleville, Illinois and the City of Belleville Clerks office. She was a member of Signal Hill Lutheran Church; she was a volunteer for the YMCA teaching children how to swim for over 18 years. She spent her time lovingly making quilts. Rosma was a loving mother and grandmother She will be greatly missed.

Rosma was preceded in death by her husband , Gerald W. Eugea who passed away on September 7, 2010; parents, Oscar M. and Ruth Ann, nee Ballou Baldwin; step mother, Martha H. Baldwin, sister, Jeanne Levinson and a brother, Richard M. Baldwin.

Surviving are her daughter, Frances Lynn, nee Owens, (Dean C.) Poirier, son, Daniel (Jennifer Lynne nee, Einsel) Eugea of Naperville, Illinois; grandchildren, Jeanne E. Poirier, Carol A. Poirier and Benjamin D. Eugea; great grandchild, Lilly Elizabeth Poirier; nieces, Margaret (Miles) McCabe, Ruth (Bruce) Conrad, Mary (Richard) Spradlin, Judy(Rick) Huffman; nephews, Michael (Linda) Baldwin and Martin (Roberta) Baldwin and a sister in law, Clara J. Baldwin.

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, April 16, 2012 from 9:30am – 11:30am at the Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois

A celebration of Life Service will be held at the funeral home at 11:30 with Rev. Mark D. Wiesner of Signal Hill Lutheran Church officiating.

Interment will be held following services in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri,
