Sandra Sandi Kay Usselmann

By profession, a nurse, Sandi helped many in the 35 years of her tireless work. She dedicated her life to assisting individuals in receiving quality medical care. Sandi owned Paragon Health Services and helped thousands of people return to work through the receipt of her services. She touched and healed many more with her friendship, love, and tender loving care.

Sandi is preceded in death by her mother, Mary (nee Billhartz) Usselmann. She is survived by her father, Louis; brothers, Randall (Cindy), Ronald (Pamela); and Roger Usselmann; a sister, Sheryl (Dean) Eschman; a nephew, Kristian; nieces, Calli, Brooke, Cristi, and Alissa; and a dear friend and colleague, Ed Steffan.

Sandi was an active and ardent supporter of Veterans Placement Services, which assists veterans in finding employment and Kids Chance Illinois, which assists families of workers killed in industrial accidents. Donations are appreciated in Sandi’s memory to these tax exempt organizations at EPS REHAB, 17726 So. Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park, IL 60477 or in the form of masses to St. Theresa Catholic Church.

Services: Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2013 at Valhalla-Gaerdner-Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, IL. There will be a second visitation on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 9 a.m. until time of mass at 11 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Belleville. Interment at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery.
