

Steve received his degree in computer science and engineering and spent much of his working life in sales and siding and window installation as well as a computer technician and web designer. He held a black belt in Karate (Shoto Kan and Chinese Goju-Ryu), enjoyed bass fishing and westerns (especially Gunsmoke), and had a passion for motorcycles. He was most proud of the patented invention he created with his grandfather, Harry Henderson. Together, they created a soldering tool known as “The Sting” which is used today by the US Navy.
He is preceded in death by his father, Howard Goodey, his step-father, Charles Riddleberger, and his nephew, Robert Goodey, Jr.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Belinda Yanones Goodey, whom he married on June 29, 2001; his mother, Marilyn (nee Henderson) Riddleberger; children, Jennifer (Dan) Whiteford, Eric Goodey, Timothy Austin, Stephen Goodey, Jr., Shannon Goodwater, and Lisa Fitzpatrick; grandchildren, Krystopher, Natasha, Eric, Emmett, and Ashlynn; brothers, Michael (Cindy) Goodey and Robert (Valerie) Goodey, as well as a niece and five nephews. He is also survived by his life-long friend, Bud Monaco.
