Tara Kittie Lianne Staten

Tara was a very unique, loving, beautiful, artistic and expressive person. She was a talented jewelry designer (Di Lusso Designs) and photographer. She enjoyed doing crafts and over the years had created one of a kind pieces for her friends and family. She loved music, flowers, tattoos and anything related to the Titanic. She had a love of animals and volunteered at the Humane Society. Tara saw beauty and found humor in things that we would have never seen without her. She had a unique perspective of the world around her. She was awesome.

Tara was preceded in death by her nephew, Gage Mikel Staten; her maternal Grandparents, Russell and Irma Lohrum; her paternal Grandfather, Carlo Palazzolo and her beloved cat Miss Kitty.

Tara is survived by her loving and devoted mother and stepfather, Sherri , nee Lohrum and Robert “Bob” Baker of Belleville, Illinois; fiance, Corey “ Kittie” Butler of Belleville, Illinois; brothers, Carlo (Crystal Leravatankul) Staten of O’Fallon, Illinois and Nickolas (Nicole Beck) Staten of Belleville, Illinois; nephew Dominick Staten; paternal grandmother, Pat Palazzolo; father, Bill (Cathy) Staten and multiple aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 3rd, 2014 at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Burgdorf with Grace World Out Reach Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois
