Virginia Russell

Virginia was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, VFW Auxiliary, the Ladies of the Moose, Mascoutah, Illinois, Shiloh Valley Senior Citizens Club, and a Lifetime member of the PTA. Virginia loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a avid bowler.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Eugene Russell, Whom passed away on January 27, 2013; sons, Keith Eugene Russell and Kevin Paul Russell; parents, Oscar and Gertrude, nee Titter, Hoffman.

Surviving are her devoted daughter-in-law, Doris Russell; grandchildren, Brian (Andrea) Russell and Amy (Dan) Krajicek; great grandchildren, Mason, Margaret, Heidi, Zachary, Andrew, Kylie, Brennan, Henry and Aislin; special and devoted friends, Gene and Carolyn Ryken.

Visitation: friends may call from 9:00 am – 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral: Services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the funeral home, with Rev. Drew Kramer officiating. Interment will follow in the Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
